We work with organizations that are capable, committed, and serious about improvement, but whose internal efforts have not delivered the clarity or results they expected.

Our role is not to take over. It is to provide experienced perspective, disciplined thinking, and steady guidance that helps leaders and teams focus on what matters most.

About Al Grainger

Grainger Performance Transformations is led by Al Grainger, an operational excellence practitioner with more than 25 years of hands‑on experience improving performance across manufacturing, construction, agriculture, energy, government, and large corporate environments.

Al’s work is grounded in the reality of operations — not theory.

He has led and supported improvement efforts that simplified complex systems, strengthened decision‑making, improved performance, and held up under everyday operating pressure. His background in Lean, change management, and leadership development shapes every engagement, ensuring the work remains practical, respectful, and focused on outcomes that last.

How We Work

Behind every engagement is a team structured to fit the situation — not the other way around.

Depending on the work, this may include specialists in continuous improvement, organizational change, performance measurement, and operational coaching. Team composition flexes as needed, but the way we work does not.

Our approach is consistent:

  • Objective perspective — surfacing blind spots internal teams may not see

  • Hands‑on involvement — working alongside teams, not issuing directives

  • Leadership alignment — reinforcing clarity, accountability, and priorities
